Fractional Skin Resurfacing - We are pleased to offer the Palomar Star Lux laser system which will enhance hair removal, photofacials and non ablative skin resurfacing, or Fractional Skin Resurfacing. Fractional Skin Resurfacing with the 1540 laser uses many microchannels to penetrate into the dermis far below the outer most skin layer causing collagen contraction and remodeling. A patented cooling tip eliminates any associated pain and there is negligible downtime (1-2 days of slight swelling) and no reason to miss work. Fine lines around the eyes and mouth benefit most from this treatment but it can be used most anywhere. Dr. Hamori will be using it to benefit severe peri-oral lip lines in conjunction with Botox and Juvederm.

GentleWaves® LED Photomodulation® - This new treatment helps reduces fine lines and is great when used after injectables such as Restylane and Botox to reduce redness and inflammation. This FDA-approved machine uses an interaction of light emmitting diodes (LEDs) to activate cells to produce collagen. Thermage™ Thermal Lift - ThermaCool TC from Thermage is now available for many facial tightening uses. This recent FDA-approved non-surgical procedure, seen on Oprah and featured in many women’s magazines, is being called the "non-surgical face-lift." It can eliminate the need for a brow lift, reduce jowls and neck laxity, tighten and lift skin around the eyes, and significantly improve the lower facial areas. Thermage ThermaCool uses a radio frequency system which causes thinned and flattened collagen to contract and tighten. The procedure is fast and requires no recovery period. Ultrasonic Facial (DermaSound™) - Great news for less than perfect skin. This new technology benefits three common skin problems: fine lines and wrinkles, acne, and rosacea. The DermaSound treatment creates an exfoliating effect by using a cascade of gentle, soothing microscopic ultrasonic bubbles designed to clean and reconstructs firmer, skin and rebuilds sagging collagen and elastin supply cause from sun, stress and other lifestyle imbalances. Paprika Herbal Treatment - Relax and escape the stresses of your life. This facial focuses on stimulating cellular repair and blood circulation while helping to increase metabolism. A blend of herbal extracts helps detoxify and improve acne problem skin.

Oxygen Facial - Oxygen is what helps your skin to look fresh and moist. This facial uses a special emulsion that forces oxygen into your skin and wipes away a dull complexion. Teen Facial - A great introduction to facials for young teens to help keep their skin clean and blemish free. Gentle exfoliation is followed by a deep cleansing mask. Our trained aesthetician/nurse will supplement the facial with education on post-treatment care.

Acne Facial - Developed specifically for deep-pore cleansing and eliminating the bacteria on the skin that cause acne. Our acne facial was developed as the perfect partner to follow our ClearLight acne treatment.

Acne Treatments

Vitalize Peel® - The Vitalize Peel is used both for anti-aging (see below) and acne treatment. It is a safe, effective and gentle chemical peel suitable for all skin types combining a unique blend of Retinoic Acid and Alpha Hydroxy Acids with Resorcinol.

Ultrasonic Facial (DermaSound™) - This treatment (see description above) is also highly effective for fighting acne. See immediate results after each treatment. Fast, safe and effective for both teens and adults — up to 90% effective after only a few treatments.

Microdermabrasion - We offer DiamondSkin crystal-free microdermabrasion — an effective treatment to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, brown spots, scars, and acne blemishes. DiamondSkin is similar to particle micrdermabrasion and chemical peels in its results, but without the adverse effects of loose aluminum-oxide particles, skin irritation, and other adverse skin reactions. The DiamondSkin system uses no loose abrasives to contaminate you or the environment..

BLU-U® Blue Light Treatment- This is a revolutionary, new in-office treatment that can clear mild to moderate inflammatory acne without side effects. BLU-U directs intense blue light to the treatment area to eliminate the p. acnes bacteria that cause acne. View before|after photos.

Back Purifying Treatment - This deep cleansing and exfoliation treatment reduces clogging and improves the overall appearance of the skin. A 60-minute procedure includes Clearlight treatment.

Anti-Aging Peels

Vitalize Peel® - This safe and effective chemical peel uses a unique blend of Retinoic Acid and Alpha Hydroxy Acids with Resorcinol. The Vitalize Peel has been clinically proven to effectively reduce age spots, melasma, acne and fine lines. It is gentle and suitable for all skin types.

Glycolic Acid Peel - Designed to smooth and retexturize mature, clogged or sundamaged skin. This anti-aging treatment puts the emphasis on gentle exfoliation. You will experience a clearer, younger, more translucent look.

Levulan Kerastick® Therapy

Sun Damaged Skin Treatment - For patients with Actinic Keratoses (those rough, scaly skin patches caused by sun exposure that can sometimes progress into skin cancers), a drug called Levulan ALA is applied topically to absorb into fast growing epidermal cells. Next a light source activates the Levulan ALA and targeted cells are destroyed. This new exciting treatment removes pre-cancerous lesions and leaves you with younger, smoother, healthier skin. Acne Treatment - Levulan ALA is the new state-of-the-art treatment for eliminating acne. Tiny glands beneath the surface of the skin can become blocked and form a pimple. Levulan ALA combined with a light source, shrinks these glands and kills bacteria in your skin. The treatment is painless; you may experience redness similar to a mild sunburn up to 7 days after treatment. One to three treatments may be required. View before|after photos.

Laser Treatments

NEW! Leg Vein Treatment - Visible red, blue or purple leg and facial veins can be a result of sun exposure, use of oral contraception, hormone therapy, age or genetics. Now, a new cosmetic laser treatment can rid you of these unsightly "spider viens" that can make you look older and feel self conscious. The Cynosure laser emits a prescribed dose of energy to the unwanted veins, while sparing the surronding area. Typically one or two treatments are required and results can be seen in 3 to 4 weeks. VariLite™ - This new dual wavelength laser offers improved treatment for vascular lesions, pigmented lesions, cutaneous lesions, rosacea, spider veins and more. Treatment will vary depending upon patient characteristics and the area being treated. Treatment sessions typically take 10-15 minutes and a treatment program may consist of several office visits. A pen-like handpiece is used to direct a beam of laser light to the lesion. You may feel a slight stinging sensation on the treatment area so a cooling gel may be applied. Some redness and swelling may be occur immediately following treatment, but should soon diminish. Unlike older technologies, VariLite treatment does not cause purple skin discoloration or bruised appearance to the treated skin. Download informational article.

Rosacea Treatment - Rosacea or broken capillaries of the face, nose and chin may be erased with our new Varilite laser. The treatment is performed by a Registered Nurse in our skin spa and takes approximately 30 minutes. A cool numbing gel is applied to the face prior to the laser treatment to reduce any pain.

Cherry Hemangiomas Removal - Cherry hemangiomas, or red spots, can be removed when treated with a diode laser. These unsightly spots usually occur on the chest and abdomen and virtually disappear after treatments.

Brown Spot Removal/Lightening - Dark skin lesions begin to develop over the face, chest as we get older. These unsightly pigmented lesions or seborrheic keratosis can be removed or lightened using laser treatment. Our registered nurse will evaluate your dark spots first then use the laser to gently eliminate or lessen the dark pigment.

Laser Hair Removal - This process drastically reduces hair of underarm, upper lip, cheek, bikini line, or back. We now have two laser technologies, including our new “light pulse” hair removal laser, allowing our nurse aesthetician to customize treatment plans for more hair types and densities.

Waxing

In addition to laser hair removal, we also offer waxing of brow and lip.
